Two things we put in writing.
From a neighbor
They stayed until it was right.
Michael and his team at Monarch Air were outstanding from start to finish. Michael gave me an honest assessment, listened carefully to what I wanted, and never tried to upsell me on anything I did not need. His team went above and beyond, working through the hottest part of the day and well into the night to make sure our new HVAC system was installed properly.

Questions we get
Heating questions, answered straight.
My heat pump blows cool air sometimes. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. Heat pumps deliver air cooler than a gas furnace does, and they run defrost cycles in cold weather that briefly feel cool. If the house isn't holding temperature, that's different — get it looked at.
Should I use emergency heat?
Only in an emergency, which is what the name means. Those strips are electric resistance heat and they're expensive to run. If your system is falling back to them regularly, something's wrong.
When should I get a heating tune-up?
October, before the first cold night. A 32-point Monarch Check is $49 and it's the difference between finding a bad ignitor on a Tuesday afternoon and finding it at 11pm when it's 24 degrees.
Do you install heat pumps or just repair them?
Both. Heat pumps are most of what goes in around here, and Michael holds a NATE certification specifically in heat pumps along with an active EPA Universal certification.
